national standards for practical nurse education
and practice. NAPNES is actively working on
updating these standards and participants will have
the opportunity for a first look at these new guidelines.
Roundtable Discussion: Certified Practical
Nurse Educator (CPNE)

NAPNES has begun preliminary discussions with NLNAC
and research on creating a certification for Practical
Nurse Educators. We will be seeking the insights
of those PN Educators and Directors that are in
attendance at the conference.
