DRIVE
Fellow members of NAPNES, it is with
great pleasure that we introduce a year long membership
drive incentive program to you. NAPNES counts on membership
revenues to achieve our goals and complete our mission.
Members like you are the most effective means for getting
new members. So with that thought in mind, here is the
incentive program that begins immediately and runs through
April 1st, 2007:

In addition to the incentives noted above, NAPNES will
print the name of every member who refers one or more
new members in each edition of the Journal of Practical
Nursing throughout the promotion.
How many of you can get 100+ new members? Many of you
can reach this goal. Chances are good that most of the
LPNs that you’re working with are not members,
so get them to join.
The facility that you work for can be an agency member
of NAPNES too. In fact, membership in NAPNES is open
to any individual or group that is interested in advancing,
promoting and protecting the practical nursing profession.
So be creative, go to your local uniform store, nursing
agencies, and many others. Not only do agencies get
the regular benefits of membership, they also get a
free business listing on NAPNES website.

briefly explains some of the benefits of membership
in NAPNES. You can use this to help you recruit new
members. The bottom half of this flier is a special
membership application form that you can use to recruit
new members. While it is not a requirement that this
form is used, new members must indicated the referring
members name on the application form they use to join
NAPNES. Referring names cannot be accepted at any other
time.
If you have any questions about this program, please

information.
Awards will be offered at the end of the promotion
based on the final number of new members referred by
the current member. These awards are not cumulative,
that is a member will earn only the level that equals
the final number of new members referred.
The referring member must maintain current membership
in NAPNES throughout the program. Student memberships
will not be counted. Associate members referred count
as ½ of 1 new member (2 Associates = 1 new member).
Life Memberships = 3 new members. Agency Membership
counts as 1 new member.
New members must indicate the name of the referring
member on their initial application. Referring names
will not be accepted after an application has been received.
A special membership referral form is available for
this program but is not required.
Awards have no cash value and cannot be substituted.
Employees of NAPNES are not eligible to participate
in this program.
