Membership
This section of NAPNES web site is designed to inform you as to the various levels of membership that are availble to P/VN Educators, LP/VNs, Students, Agencies and others that wish to support the prinicpals of the association. Each type of membership will be explained in detail and non-members will have an opportunity to join online or if they prefer, they can download a paper application and mail along with payment.
Since 1941, NAPNES has been the voice of practical and vocational nursing education and practice. Your membership is critical to our mission of protecting and advancing the education and practice of the lincensed practical and vocational nurse. Membership rates start as low as $10.00 per year, surely your profession has given enough to you that you can afford to give back a very small portion to help protect the future of practical / vocational nursing. Student Membership
Student eMemberships — $10.00 per year
Student memberships in NAPNES are open to individuals who are currently students in a state approved practical / vocational nursing school. Graduates who were student members are entitled to a $10.00 membership your first year after graduating, that's a $65.00 savings. Students enjoy all the rights and benefits of membership including full voice and vote. Students may serve on committees and be elected to NAPNES board of directors.
Beginning in 2007, all Student Memberships are now eMemberships. The program is the same except online membership includes an electronic version of the Journal of Practical Nursing versus the printed copy. We're sorry but we do not accept off-line applications for this program.

Individual Memberships
Individual Memberships — $75.00 per year
Individual eMembership* — $35.00 per year
Individual memberships in NAPNES are open to RNs, LPNs, LVNs, and others interested in advocating the professional practice of licensed practical / vocational nurses. PN Educators are encouraged to join both NAPNES and our Council of Practical Nurse Educators (COPNE). Click here for PN Educator membership details.

Agency Membership
Agency Membership — $100.00 per year
Agency memberships in NAPNES are open to institutions that support quality health care including but not limited to hospitals, long-term care centers, schools of practical / vocational nursing, etc.
We also offer special programs to schools that require 100% student membership in NAPNES. Click here for more details.
Agency members also enjoy a listing on NAPNES website. Schools of PN that join as an agency get a featured school page that is linked to our state by state listing of PN programs. Other business agency members get a listing on our site that is linked to their corporate web site.

NAPNES + COPNE Memberships

Electronic $85.00 - Save $40.00 per year
Council of Practical Nurse Educators
(COPNE)
Individual COPNE Membership — $50.00 per year and requires either Individual or Individual eMembership in NAPNES.
Membership in COPNE is open to P/VN Educators and others interested in advocating the professional education of licensed practical / vocational nurses. PN Educators are encouraged to join both NAPNES and our Council of Practical Nurse Educators. COPNE Members receive additional discounts at PN Educator Workshops and National Convention and other benefits.
